NBA FINALS CONT.

So Wade James and Bosh did their job last night in defeating the Dallas Mavericks. They had 65 points between the three of them. They provided relentless defense all night. When the Heat needed a big shot to swing the momentum their way they provided it.

So what can Dallas do to make a series out of this and avoid a sweep?

First Dallas must realize that they have the better point guard, front court, and bench. With better ball movement and better three point shooting they should be able to make a run at the title.

They must also put more pressure on the defensive side of the ball. They cannot allow Wade the space to walk the ball up the court and take any jumper he wants to. Terry allowed that all game last night.

They must not allow James to get so many isolation plays. They need to double him quickly and make him a passer. Make Bibby and Miller and Howard make some important shots. They also must be aggressive with Lebron. He hates when he is played physically.

They have to become more aggressive on the boards both offensive and defensively. They were dominated on the glass last night. Second chance points killed the Mavericks in game one.

On offense they must have more production out of their guards, starters and ones coming off the bench. Kidd was ok in the first half but his jumper is unreliable and left him in the second half. Terry was a non factor in the game completely and that cannot happen again. Marion cannot be their second scoring option, he is a third at best. Chandler needs to be a force in the paint. It almost seemed that he was lost in game one. Stojakovic must hit threes, he is a liability on defense so he must produce on the offensive side.

What do the Heat need to do? Their big three had decent games but nothing spectacular. Their role players did their jobs and their defense was good. They will need to guard the perimeter alittle better because the Mavs three point shooting will improve. If they allow Dirk to get his points and try and stop the rest of the Mavs it will hurt them in the long run. The Mavericks are too deep. They must stop Nowitzki's scoring, because his team feeds off of him.

So as I said yesterday I still believe the Mavericks win the NBA FINALS in seven games. Nothing has been lost yet. They say a series hasn't started until the home team loses. That is all Miami has done is won one game at home.

Please tell us what you think about last nights game. Do you agree or disagree? Who do you think is going to win the series? Lets hear what the PEOPLE think. L2
