NFL LOCKOUT OVER..NOW WE HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS

The four and a half month lockout is now over. We are about to start a week of NFL transactions never before seen by the league. Free agents will be signed, starters will be signed and some will be traded. Back ups will negotiate quick contracts just to make sure they get on a team this year. With all these things about to happen we have some questions. We want to pose these questions and see what the public now thinks.

Could or better yet will the Philadelphia Eagles replace Kevin Kolb, who wore number 4, with Brett Favre, the most famous number 4? There have been many reports that the Eagles are really considering doing this. The idea from a team perspective makes good sense. Favre and head coach Andy Reid go way back. Favre knows the west coast offense better then anyone else, he could run it in his sleep. Philadelphia needs a veteran back up because Vick is so susceptible to injuries. If Favre comes back and we think he will, Philadelphia makes perfect sense over say Carolina or Seattle.

Will Carson Palmer be a Cincinnati Bengal this year? Will he retire? Or will he end up with another team? Palmer has overcome a horrible knee injury and a elbow injury that almost cost him his career. He has overcome Ochocinco and T.O. He has overcome all the arrests and dysfunction of his teammates to put up relatively great numbers. Palmer has quite a few more good years left in him, but we don't think it will be as a Bengal. Palmer would be a good fit in Miami or Minnesota, where those teams have deep threat receivers. Palmer still throws a great deep ball.

Who will be Larry Ftizgerald's starting QB in Arizona? Larry should get on the phone right now and personally call Kevin Kolb. Kevin should answer that phone call and listen and do what Larry says. If Kevin Kolb decides to end up in Arizona, which is a great fit for his style, him and Larry should hook up for at least 15 TDs this season. This combo would make the Cardinals an instant contender. Not since Kurt Warner's last season have the Cardinals actually competed for anything. If Arizona decides to go with someone else like, Orton or Hasslebeck, then Arizona should just go ahead and write this season off as a loss. In 2012 Ftizgerald becomes a free agent and without a credible starting QB, Larry will fly to different team for sure.

Which draft pick got hurt the most by this lockout? We believe it will be Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers. He has lost 3 months of coaching and training with teammates and his coaches. There were now mini camps or OTAs either. The hardest position to transition from college to the pros is the quarterback position and with a loss of 3 months it will be even harder. He has been working with former NFL QB Chris Weinki and studying his play book but none of that replaces the actual time and reps on the field.

Which team will sign Plaxico Burress? Well we are absolutely sure it will not be the New York Football Giants. But if we had three guesses of who will, we would say that Philadelphia is a great option. The Eagles have speedster D. Jackson and Burress would be a great compliment in size. Perfect for inside the 20 yard line. Another option is the Chicago Bears. The Bears are known for protecting their players and we all know that Plax will need protection from the media. A long shot team to sign Burress is the St. Louis Rams. Give that young QB there an actual legit target and that team could be scary.

Will Reggie Bush remain a New Orleans Saint? If we were in charge of the New Orleans Saints we would keep Reggie Bush. We would get rid of his highly over paid salary of 11.8 million dollars. If he was willing to take a pay cut, then along with the creative genius that Sean Payton is, Bush could create havoc for defensive coordinators and special teams coaches for years to come in the black and gold. If he didn't want to take the pay cut then we would release him. Bush is a scheme player and a coach must have the right scheme in place in order for Bush to be effective. So his options of teams would be very limited.

There are more questions but these are just a few. What do you think about our questions? Do you have different answers? What questions do you have that need to be answered? Share them with us we would like to hear them and maybe give you our opinion.

Tell us what think.

The Saints want to pay Bush around 7 mil and early indications seemed he would restructure but I don't think so. I haved sited some sources as to why I think that

I think he fits the saints scheme better than anywhere else, even with the addition of Ingram.

That being said, the saints will be fine with or without him. Pierre Thomas is resigned and they have two bulls now with Ingram and Ivory.

I am also not jumping on this big Kevin kolb to Fitz express. The cards first choice may have very well been Marc Bulger.

Fitz never hooked up with Warner for 15 TDs, I get he also had Boldin there but still.....

I'll be the first to eat crow if he goes there and blows it up but 11 TD and 14 picks, 73 rating is what it is....fitz is great but a QB best friend is a solid running game and that has to happen too.

@Drunkin Sailor I agree with you about Bush if he is smart he will stay, if he is greedy and thinks he is better then he really is he will leave and ruin his career. As for Fitz if Bulger is their first choice they need to fire their management. Bulger has always been over rated in our opinion. Now Kolb has proved anything yet we understand but he has shown signs that with the right receiver and a solid running game he can be good. I am looking for at least a hook up of 12 TDs minimum if Kolb goes there. Where do you think Plax goes? And will TIKI make a return?

Tiki will try, I'm thinking tampa or Miami for him but Miami is looking for better maybe bradshaw?

as for Plax thats tuff is hard to find but the ravens make sense because they will be looking to replace Mason and help out flac. The Rams also make sense but i think they will be making a run for Braylon Edwards for some reason.

what about randy moss and TO?

@Drunkin Sailor TO is probably done. After his knee surgery and all the baggage that comes with him I don't see anyone taking a one year shot on him really. Moss I can see in Miami or Chicago or even back in New England.

Bush sucks and is way overrated
The Bengals never let players out of their contract so Palmer probly doesn't play this yr( hello Andy Dalton)
Quit hating on T.O. he isn't the one who choked in the SuperBowl
Cam will play this yr cause Jimmy Clauson sux just like all Notre Dame QB's not named Montana

@MJJ thank you for your comment please sign up to follow us and subscribe via email if you have not already. Bush doesnt suck actually he is a great scheme player and must be used as such. Is he a every down back absolutely not, but on special teams and scheme packages he is very effective. Is he over-rated sure. Palmer will get out of his contract one way or another and Andy Dalton we are a fan of but not yet sure if he will turn into a great pro QB. The system at TCU was alot like what they ran at Texas Tech and you could probably plug just about any QB in there and be successful. I wasnt hating on T.O. just stating facts he has had knee surgery and carries alot of baggage with him. He is a one year contract type of player and we dont see any team this taking him on. Now that leaves him closer to 40 and even though he keeps himself in great shape this is probably the end for him. Too bad. As for choking in the Super Bowl, you must be talking about the only one he played in and he lost. If you play in a Super Bowl and you lose then you and your team choked period. Of course Cam will play they have to play him because they spent the first pick on him but that was not the question, Cam will be hurt most by this lock out. Not a hundred percent sure here but we take it you dont care for Notre Dame.
