MOTORCYCLE GEAR AND HELMETS...

The next time you are in your car, truck, or suv we would like you to think about something. Think about how riding inside these vehicles disconnects you from the outside world. They almost make you feel as if the outside world doesn't exist. The windshield and windows are more like movie screens, with scenes zooming by. You can't hear nor feel the outside world at all from inside a car, truck, or suv. With all the amenities inside these vehicles like, A/C, radios, dvd players, unreal stereo systems, live help desks, it is no wonder the other side of the windshield and windows seem unreal.

Riding a motorcycle, dirt bike, or ATV is a completely different experience. The real world is never excluded from the rider. There are no cell phones in hand, most motorcycles and dirt bikes and ATVs do not have stereos to distract the rider. You get to feel the "live" world around you. The wind hitting your face, the smell of the world you are traveling through. You get to hear the traffic buzzing by or hear the rumble of other dirt bikes or ATVs on the track. Riding a motorcycle, dirt bike, or ATV makes us very vulnerable when riding. Not just to the physical world but also to the emotional world.

Another thing that sets motorcycles and ATVs apart from other vehicles is the preparedness that is needed to ride. You see, when people get in their car, truck, or suv it is mostly a chore to do so. This can be done with very little thought. But when riding a motorcycle, ATV, or dirt bike preparedness is the key. There must be thought of how the weather is going to effect the ride, do you have enough fuel to get there and back or are there fill stations in between. The most important thing to consider when riding a motorcycle, ATV, or dirt bike is your gear.

Sure you will find in mature and foolish riders wearing nothing more then shorts and a t-shirt. They are destined for a serious injury and a trip to the hospital. A riders gear is what keep him/her safe and gives them a sense of security. Gear includes helmets, boots, gloves, riding jacket and more.

The gear for a motorcycle, dirt bike, and ATV rider is as diverse as the riders themselves. One of the best places to get riding gear is http://www.canadapost.ca/shopper/product-guides/motorcycle_motocross_ATV_guide. They provide access to every piece of riding gear that one could possibly think of. From helmets, goggles, jackets and pants to boots, sunglasses, gloves and backpacks.  Canadapost.ca offers it all. They offer gear for men, women, and even youth size gear. They offer all of this at great low prices as well.

In our opinion the most important piece of riding gear is the helmet. Always take your time when choosing a helmet because it may save your life one day. That is slightly different then gloves or a jacket. If a glove or jacket doesn't fit properly, you can live with that. If you choose a improper helmet, you may not live long enough to complain about it. Helmets save lives, so choose the right one.
