SUBURGATORY

One of the newer shows of this year’s television season is Suburgatory. It is a show about a high schooler named Tess who recently moved to the suburbs from New York City with her father against her will. Tess has made it perfectly clear that she hates and despises living in the suburbs and the neighbors that live closeby are no help in that department. There is a woman named Dallas who has a daughter named Dahlia who live down the street. Dallas is married but is sweet on Tess’ father even though he doesn’t seem to notice. Dahlia looks like she came right out of the high school hallways of the movie Mean Girls and she would definitely be what they call a “plastic.” She is way overdone from her makeup to her hair to her ridiculous clothing choices. Tess on the other hand is a laid back casual dresser who doesn’t really spend a whole lot of time putting on makeup or worrying about her hair. These two couldn’t be more different.
