E CARDS

Post contributed by Josue Durham

This year for Valentine’s Day, rather than send out cards in the mail like I’ve always done, I want to do those “e” cards I recently read about in Good Housekeeping. Basically it is a card the person gets emailed (that’s why it’s called “e” card), and it can be animated, and you can even insert a picture. I think the grandkids would love to get one like that from me this year. I don’t have internet at home though, and you need internet to be able to send an e card. I’m going to go to satellitestarinternet.com on my neighbor’s computer to see about signing up for internet at home. I think I have enough time between now and Valentine ’s Day to get internet hooked up and get the e cards out. I’m not sure how long it takes after you send an e card for people to get it, but I’m assuming it is faster than mailing a card in the mail. Emails are pretty much instant, so maybe these e cards are too.
