OK SO IT HAS BEEN A FEW DAY SINCE I UPDATED THE BLOG. I APOLOGIZE FOR THAT, BUT LIFE SOMETIMES PUTS THINGS ON THE BACK BURNER.
BUT HERE I AM UPDATING TODAY SO THINGS MUST BE BETTER RIGHT? WELL TIME WILL TELL...
DAY 15 WAS MY DAY OFF AND IT HAPPENED TO BE A FRIDAY. IT WAS A EARLY DISMISSAL FROM SCHOOL SO I PICKED UP MY SON AND NEPHEW AND WE HEADED HOME TO HANG OUT FOR A BIT.
WHEN WE GOT THERE I KNOCKED OUT A KETTLEBELL WORKOUT IN THE GARAGE WITH THEM. THOSE 2 KIDS ARE THE GREATEST WORKOUT PARTNERS ON EARTH, THEY WILL NEVER LET ME MISS A REP! LOL
AFTER THAT MY NEPHEW WENT HOME AND MY WIFE AND I DECIDED THAT WE WOULD ENJOY A FAMILY NIGHT OUT. THAT SOUNDED PERFECT WE HAVEN'T HAD ONE OF THOSE IN SOME TIME.
OFF TO B&J'S PIZZA IT WAS! THE KIDS WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE PIZZA AND IN ALL HONESTY I WANTED SOME TOO.
WE ORDER A LARGE PIZZA AND SOME HOT WINGS AND DRINKS FOR EVERYONE. I EVEN ENJOYED A VERY INTERESTING DOUBLE CHOCOLATE STOUT BEER. I TOLD MY WIFE THAT YES I AM STILL DOING THE CHALLENGE AND YES I STILL HAVE GOALS, BUT IF WE CANT ENJOY OURSELVES EVERY NOW AND THEN ALONG THE WAY, THEN IT WILL NEVER BE WORTH GETTING THE RESULTS.

NEXT DAY I WAS BACK AT THE FIRE STATION WORKING 3 OUT OF THE LAST 4 DAYS HAS REALLY TAKEN A TOLL ON ME, BUT HEY WE CAN REST WHEN WE DIE RIGHT? THAT IS A JOKE AND I TRULY BELIEVE THAT REST IS IMPORTANT TO OUR HEALTH!
I GO THROUGH THE SHIFT FAIRLY EASY, I WAS ACTING CAPT ON THE ENGINE BUT WE DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TOO SERIOUS. WE MADE A HANDFUL OF CALLS, MOSTLY AFTER MID NIGHT (IT WAS SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER ALL!)
THE NEXT DAY I BRING HOME SOME BREAKFAST FOR THE FAMILY MINUS MY SON WHO STAYED THE NIGHT AT HIS COUSINS HOUSE. WE DIDN'T HAVE TOO MUCH SCHEDULED FOR THE DAY OTHER THAN TO RELAX AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL EITHER THAT HAS BLOWN IN. I TAKE ADDISON OUTSIDE AND WE PLAY SOCCER FOR A BIT. WE HAVE A BLAST LOOKING AT THE FISH AND TOUCHING THE STINGRAYS! THE KIDS GET TO HAVE ICE CREAM AND SODAS FOR THEIR SNACK THERE. WE MAKE IT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP WITH OUT HAVING TO TAKE A LOAN OUT, SO THAT WAS GOOD. WE THEN TAKE THEM OVER TO CI CI'S PIZZA FOR LUNCH. WE ALL GRUB ON SALAD AND PIZZA UNTIL WE ARE FULL.
