I'm going to be a dad

I am going to be a father!! Yes, you read that correctly. I am actually going to be a dad. I have been waiting for this day for a long time and I can’t believe it is finally here. My wife has been so sweet and excited about the new arrival. I know the worry is starting to set in about the baby’s safety. For some reason, my wife worries about every little thing. I am guessing it is just a woman thing, but nonetheless she is the biggest worrier I know. In order to help the worrying, I started baby-proofing the house. I know it doesn’t need to be done for a while, but I knew she was going to keep thinking about it and bring it up. Therefore, I decided to get a head start on it. I put childproof locks on all the cabinets. I even called ADT Kansas CITY to install an alarm system. My wife is always readying these horror stories about kidnappers. I know the alarm will make her feel safer. I know we are both nervous about being parents, but at least we are taking all the steps we can to be prepared.
